Match a camera document to your setup question
Start with the label on the camera. Copy the exact model name into your research sheet, including any suffix. Add the firmware version if you can find it. Keep an unknown version marked unknown.
Keep the source beside the question
Write one question per row. Record the document title, URL, publication date if shown and the date you read it. Note which models the document names and which task it describes.
When a guide covers several models, keep the wording that limits an instruction to a particular model. Leave a question open when the source does not answer it. A nearby model number can help you search for another document, but it does not settle the question.
Review before trying a step
Compare the device, model and task in the source with your own setup. Record your observations separately, with the equipment and software version you used. Date the observation so someone else can understand its context later.
IP Camera Hub publishes camera buying and setup references. Its guides can help you locate original documentation; keep that documentation with your research sheet when you share an answer.
